Chairman Adams declemed the ~olls open for the election at 7:00 P,M.with Judy Thilb~rg and Gall Faircloth as Tellers. Chairman Adams celled the meeting to order at 7:19 P.M. On motion of ~alter Sabat, seconded by Edward Adams and carried, the minutes of the October meeting wex'e read and approved with one correction. Bonnie Adams had been ap~inted a Tell~r for this election but had b~n replaced by Gail Fair¢loth becauee of Bonnie's inability to be present. C.F.Van Dazer Gas Serviced Inc. 169.15 On motion of Edward Adams, ~econded by gaiter Sabat and carried, the following r~olution was adopte~: RESOLVED, that the following budget modification~ be made: The sum of $2,000.00 to be taken from Site Improvement; The sum of $2,000.00 to be taken from I~gal Counsel; The sun of $500.00 to be taken from Miscellaneous; and The sum of 8500.00 to be taken from Beach Manager; and 85,000.00 be put into Site Maintenance/Facility Repairs.. Chairman Adams reported that the Chamber of Commerce had appointed Eric Cook and Bill Bladykam to meet with Mr. Carracciolo regarding the possibility of a grant for construction of basketball courts to be built on Park District property. SeorstarF Haas w-~ote a letter to the Chamber of Commerce at the r~qu~t of Chairman Adams stating an approximate cost of $8,000.00 to 810,000.00 for the construction. Chairman Adams further =~ported that Commissioner Goeh~inger had to obtain a pe~nit fo1~ the erection of the f~ at the ~water ~ite to ~ ~e by Doug ~r. G~rax~d Goehringer, Ed Adam~, Howard Young, SurveFo~, and James Richter and two other men iron the ~untF met at ~olf Pit ~ke to discu~ the water p~blem. Mr. Cox entered the meeting and the Commiesioners showed him a Time Shat they wanted bin to start to implem=nt on Novombe~ 23, 1998. Chairman Adams reported that the specifications for the new barn had been received from Mr. Sambach, the architect. December 12, 1998 at the Elbow Room in Laurel is ~et for the luncheon for the Park District employees. Chairman Adams declared the polls clo~ed. The Tellers reported 16 Votez~ ~istered; 16 ballots were counted; 16 ballote were cast for Gerard Goeh=inger fo= Commissioner for a 3-Tear tern commencing on January 1, 1999.
