The first order of business was to appoint a Chairman tbr the 1999 5'ear. On
motion of Water Sabat. seconded by Gerard Goelu'inger and carried, Edward Adams was
appointed Chairman.
On motion Gl'Waller Sal)at. seconded by Gerard Goehringer and canicd, Ma&linc
S. I Iaas was appoinlcd Secretary ofllie Board Gl'Commissioners lbr 1999.
On motion of Gerard Goehringer, seconded by Walter Sabat and carried, the
official newspapers ot'fl~e Park District named lbr 1999 were The Traveler-Watchman
and Suffolk Times.
(~)~ motion o1' Water Sabat. seconded by Gerard Goehringer and carried, Sullblk
County National Bank andNorlh Fork Bank were named as official depositories Gl'the
Park Districl for 1999.

On motion Gl'Gerard Goehringer. seconded by Waller Sabat and carried, the
minutes Gl'the November 19. 1998 meeting were approved as presented.
On motion of Walter Sabat, seconded by Gerard G~ehringer, and carried, the
Treasurer's report was approved as presented, and bills presented were approved llor
payment:

Old Business:
Chairman Edward Adams repmted having attended the dedication of the piece of
land at Marratooka Lake to be used as a nature preserve.
The Conmfissioners unanimously agreed to have Young & Young prepare a survey
of Wolf Pit I ,ake to show just ~vhat the Park District o~ms and what can be done to
completely eliminate the run-off fi-om the road.
On motion of Gerard Goehringer, seconded by Waller Sabal and carried, the
following resolution was adopted:
RESOLVED. that the lbllowing mudilications be made to the 1998 budget:

Gerard Goehringer spoke about the ri~t of way behind the Park District office
which has had a fence put across is by the adjoining owners. Connnissioner Goehringer
said he had called Wickham, \Vickham & Bressler and they are going to look up the deed
and read it over betbre ansthing is going to be done. Then Gall Wickhan~ will write a
letter.
