CERTIFICATE OF CANVASS OF RESULT OF FIRE DISTRICT ELECTION The undersigned, ADAM ZAVESKI, Chairman of the Election, and GEORGE MU~LEN, EDWARD SWIATOCHA, and STANLEY SALTILY, Election In- spectors and Ballot Clerks, DO HEREBY CERTIFY AS FOLLOWS: 1. That each of us is a resident taxpayer of the Cutchogue Fire District in the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New York, and that pursuant to a resolution adopted by the Board of Fire Commissioners of said Fire District on December 23rd, 1971, we were appointed to the offices set forth hereinabove for the spe- cial election of said Fire District held on January 14th, 1972, between the hours of 7:00 o'clock P.M. and lO:00 o'clock P.M., Eastern Standard Time, for the purpose of voting upon the fol- lowing proposition entitled: PROPOSITION Shall the resolution entitled: "BOND RESOLUTION DATED DECEMEER 23, 1971. A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW FIREHOUSE IN AND FOR TH~ CUTCHOGUE FIRE DISTRICT IN THE TOWN OF SOUTHOLD, SD-FFOLK COUNTY, NEW YORK, AT A MAXIMUM ESTIMATED COST OF $250,000.00, AND AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF $250,000.00 SERIAL BONDS OF SAID FIRE DISTRICT TO PAY TH~ COST Tt~EREOF", duly adopted by the Board of Fire Commissioners of said Fire District on the 23rd day of December, 1971 be approved? 2. After the polls had closed for said election, we immediately canvassed the ballots cast. Inspection of such ballots disclosed the following results: Total number of ballots cast Total number of votes in favor of proposition Total number of votes against proposition Total number of void ballots 3. Upon the completion of such canvass the Chairman of the Election publicly announced the result thereof. -2- 4. A true, correct and complete copy of the official ballot used in said special election is attached hereto and made a part hereof.
