Benny Orlowski explained to the committee the Planning Board's view of the Simmons property. The Town had purchased the development rights on this property in 1987. When Mr. Simmons filed his subdivision map for the lots in back, the proposed road to these lots was not where he would like to put it now. He would like to put in on the other side of the trees, which means using some of the land that the Town had bought the development rights on. Regarding the Bagley/Hanauer property in Southold, Mr. Bagley turned down the $150,000.00 offer made to him. However, Joe will ask him to put in another application for the lot adjouring Hommels Pond. With no further business to be discussed, the meeting was adjourned at 9:30 p.m. ~espectfully submitted, ~/~oyce, M. Wilkins Secretary
