Town Wetland Code, no permit is required to remove the bamboo from the right-of-way
and to clear a path.

Dear Mr. Leviness:
It has been brought to our attention that clearing activity has taken place within 100'
of the wetlands on your property, as well as depositing of yard debris on the adjoining
property, known as Redwood Road, owned by the Town of Southold.
In accordance with Chapter 275 - Wetlands Code, any activity within 100' of the
wetlands requires a permit and/or further review by this Board. A copy of Chapter 275 has
been enclosed for your convenience.
Please be advised that any further activity within 100' of the wetlands without a
permit is a violation and will result in further action by this Board.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact this office.
