Re: Floating dock in Richmond Creek, at 650 Spring Lane
Peconic, NY 11958
Dear Trustees,
I respectively request a pre-submission inspection (which I understand is scheduled for
Dec 3rd) for a floating dock in Richmond Creek, at 650 Spring Lane, Peconic. I would
like to also request to meet with the Board at their convenience at one of their work
sessions to obtain any recommendations they may have with regards to the installation
of the dock.
This new submission will be for an amendment to an existing walkway permit which will
be used as the stationary portion of the dock from which the new ramp and floater will
be connected.
I commissioned a Hydrographic Map of Richmond Creek in the location of the proposed
floating dock, a copy of which is included.
I have also included a drawing of the details and location of the proposed floating dock
that was prepared by Costello Marine.
For clarity, I have superimposed the proposed location of the floating dock and the ramp
onto the hydrographic map so that you are able to see that the proposed structure is
well within the depth and distance requirements for such a structure.
I have also enclosed a check for $50 for the pre-inspection.
