HomeMy WebLinkAbout10/13/1930 At a meeting of the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Mattituck Fire District, Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New York, held at the office of the Mattituck Watch- man in the Village of Mattituck, Suffolk County, New York, at 0 o'clock P. M. on the loth day of October, 1900. Present were Messrs.: J. Wood Wickham William M. Hudson George L. Penny constituting the Board of Fire Commissioners of said district. The meeting was presided over by J. Wood Wickham as chairman and George L. Penny as secretary. At O o'clock P. M. Eastern Standard Time, the sealed bids received as a result of the notice of sale of Twenty Thousand (20,000) Mattituck Fire District bonds to be held at this time were opened. Bids were received from the Sag Harbor Savings Bank, The Roslyn Savings Bank, Southold Savings Bank and Farson, Eon & Company, copies of which bids are hereto annexed and marked Schedule A, B, C, and D. At the same time, Mr. Gallagher representing A. C. Allyn and Company, Inc., in behalf of said company, bid orally for the entire issue 4~% interest at par and accrued interest plus a premium of $25.00. After the various bids were considered, upon motion of William M. Hudson, duly car- ried, it was "resolved that the bid of A. C. Allyn and Com- pany, Inc. for the entire issue at Ad interest at par and accrued interest plus a premium of $25.00 be accepted." Upon motion of William M. Hudson, duly carried, it was "resolved that an agreement to this effect be entered in- to with A. C. Allyn and Company, Inc., a copy of which is hereto annexed and marked Schedule E. thereupon executed and delivered to Mr. company. The meeting then adjourned. Said agreement was Gallagher for his Chairman of Meet Secret~ry of Meeting.~
