Lotion made,seconded and carried that the following
and e~,ipment be ordered; 500 feet 3/4 in. Booster Hose;
in.Adapters; 12 Flashlights for Fire Patrol ~se.
On motion made, seconded and c arried,~ it was re-
solved that the sum of $7800.00 be raised by tax for Fire District
funds for 1954. The l~ldget was a~rived at as follows: Salaries and
Wages $1500.00; Naintenanoe and epair of ApPl~at~S $1600.00; l~r-
ehase of l~quipment $1600.00; llaintenanoe ahd llepair of Buildings
$1000.00; Inmlran0e $1500.00~ Firemen's Well .a..re. $~00.00; Misoellan-

raise the above m~m be submitted to the taxpayers of the Fire District
on Au~ult 18,19§l,t~e polls to be open from ? P.M. to 10 P.M.
Leo ~ ,Baldwin, George H.Nine and Walter Courts were
appointed to serve as inspectors of the Aug.18th special meeting,
and a resolution was adopted that the inspectors serving be paid
the stem of $5.00 e~oh for their services.
The seoretary wa~ instructed to advertise the speolal
meeting in the L.X.Traveler-Mattituok '~atohman of ~uly
to post five oopies of the advertisement in five publio places,and
to prepare the ballots for said meeting.
