That system was installed, as an afterthought, during the installation of the new filtration system in the spring of 2009. I added the feed and return to the "Filtration Room Plan" dated 6/1/09. The system was Installed by Alternative Power and Light Corporation and manufactured by "Helicoil Pool Heaters". The system is a water tube system and has no electrical connections or components. It contains ball valves that will isolate the system when out of service and help divert water from the return flow through the roof mounted array and returns that heated water to the pool retun further downstream. There is no coolant used in this system that merel~ circulates pool water. It is drained down seasonally for freeze protection.
