b. Plot plan showing location of lot and of buildings on premises, relationship to adjoining premises or public streets or
areas, and waterways.
c. Thc work covered by this application may not be commenced before issuance of Building Permit.
d. Upon approval of this application, the Building Inspector will issue a Building Permit to the applicant. Such a permit
shall be kept on the premises available for inspection throughout the work.
e. No building shall be occupied or used in whole or in part for any purpose what so ever until the Building Inspector
issues a Certificate of Occupancy.
f. Every building permit shall expire if the work authorized has not commenced within 12 months after the date of
issuance or has not been completed within 18 months from such date. If no zoning amendments or other regulations affecting the
property have been enacted in the interim, the Building Inspector may authorize, in writing, the extension of the permit for an
addition six months. Thereafter, a new permit shall be required.

Installation of a Solar Heater
Dear Sir:
I am writing you regarding the installation of their solar heater at the above
referenced facility. That system was installed, as an afterthought, during the
installation of the new filtration system in the spring of 2009. I added the feed
and return to the "Filtration Room Plan" dated 6/1/09.
The system was Installed by Alternative Power and Light Corporation and
manufactured by "Helicoil Pool Heaters". The system is a water tube system and
has no electrical connections or components. It contains ball valves that will
isolate the system when out of service and help divert water from the return flow
through the roof mounted array and returns that heated water to the pool retun
further downstream.
There is no coolant used in this system that merel~ circulates pool water. It is
drained down seasonally for freeze protection. The collectors are located
immediately above the filter room on the rooftop and add a mere 1.06 #! square
foot to the roof load.

I have delivered an original copy of the Underwriters Inspectional Certificate to
you on August 9, 2010 and believe this is the last document you require to get our
Certificate to Operate. That document contained the required, embossed seal
which you inspected. It is our only original and the company that performed the
inspection has since gone out of business. Loss of that document would leave us
with only reproductions.
The principals of the Joint Industry Board really want to put this project behind
them and ask that you provide them with their "Certificate to Operate~, at your
earliest convenience. Failure to do so will undoubtedly result in the addition of
new regulations being adopted and delays needed to achieve compliance.
This Joint Industry 8oard of the Electrical Industry has been completely agreeable
to any and all of the Departments requests to date and does not deserve to be
delayed any further. We await receipt of that document.
