THIS INDENTURE, made the fourth day of April in the. year
nineteen hundred and eight (1909 ) . BET?/?FN, JOHN NEVIN SAYRE,
VILLIAM H. SAYRE and A. N. CLEAVER, as Exelcutors under the last
Will and Testament of Robert H. Sayre, into of the Borough of
South Bethlehem, County of Northampton and State of Pennsyltoania
parties of the first part and THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,
party of the second part; WITNESSETH, that the said parties of
the first part In consideration of nine thousand four hundred
and thirty ( $9,430 . ) Dollars, lawful money of the United States
paid by the party of the second part, do hereby grant and
release unto the said party of the second part; its successors
and assigns forever, ALL that certain lot, piece or parcel of
land, situate, lying and being on Fisher 's Island, County of
Suffolk and State of New Yor}�., bounded and described as follows;
BEGINNING at a mere stone on the northerly side of Equestrian
Avenue, which is at the southwesterly corner of. Tract No. 19
purchased from E. M. and 17. Ferguson, deed dated September 7,
1901 , by R. P. Linderman, from said more stone the Tinn runs in
a northwesterly direction, along the westerly line of said R. P.
Linderman, N. 460 5a;' GI four hundred and eight feet more or less
to the shores of Fisher' s Island Sound; then the line extends
in a southwesterly direction, along the shores of Fisher ' s
Island Sound, five hundred and fifty three feet, }pore or less,
to the northeasterly line of lands of E. M. and Wfilton Forguson,
thence along the line of ]_ands of E. M. and 7ralton Ferguson, S
500 20 ' E, three h,,.ndred and sixteen feet to a mere
stone on Equestrian Avenue, then the line deflects to the left
about 900 and extends one hundred and twelve and eight tenths
feet (112.5 ) along the nortlerLy side of Mize9trian Avenue, in a
northeasterly direction to a mere stone, on said Avenue; then
the line deflects to the left 330 3' and extends along the
northerly side of said Fquest.rian Avenue two hundred and sixty
nine and four tenths ( 269 .4 ) feet to a mere stone of said Avenue
then the line deflects to the right 240 36' rind extends ninety
one and seventy five one hundredths (91 .75 ) feet to the point
of beginning. And also the fee intnrest in and to a certain
public highway known as Equestrian Avenue, lyin„ to the east
of said premises and adjoining the same, and all the right,
title and interest of the parties of the first part in and to
said highway. The premises intended to be above conveyed are
shown upon "Map A, lands adjacent to Fort B. G. Wright, Military
Reservation, Fisher's Island, N. Y. surveyed under direction of
1.1aj . Harry Taylor, Corps of Eng'rs, U. S. A. May 1907 by R. "I.
Chaffee" and being the same premises conveyed to Robert H.
Sayre, of. South Bethlehem, Count,,r of Northampton and Suite of
Pennsylvania, by Edmund M. Ferguson and Josephine E. Ferguson
his wife and 7ralton Ferguson and Julia L. Ferguson his wife, by
deed dated October S, 1902 and recorded in theoffice of the
Clerk of Suffolk County, N. Y. , in Liber 527 of Deeds page 360,
October 17, 1902 at Nine o'clock A. M. Subject to the
covenants contained in said deed. Together with all the right,
title and interest of the parties of the first part, in and to
the land under water, below mean high water mark, in front of
said premises upon Fisher's Island Sound. Containing 4. 20
acres more or less, being part of the same premises of which
said Robert H. Sayre died seized January 4th 1907, and which
Robert H. Sayre by his last Will and Testament dated the 16th
day of December A. D. 1904 and probated the 9th day of January
1907, in the Register 's office at Easton, authorized the said
Executors to convey as appears by the following recital : "I
further authorize my said hereinafter named Executors to grant,
bargain, sell , convey, assign, transfer and set over all or
any part of the real estate belonging to my estate, whether held
in severalty or in common with others; and to make, execute,
acknowl ed.ue and deliver al'. and any deeds and assurances
necessary to convey the :property of the purchaser, free, clear
and discharged of all the trust created in this my hill , and
to receive a receipt for and acquittances give for the purchase
moneys, and without any liability on the part of the purchaser,
to see to the application of the purchase money. " TOGETHER
with the appurtenances, and all the estate and rif'.;hts of the
partieq of the first part in and to said premises. TO HA'rj' AND
TO HOLD the above granted premi:� es unto the said party of the
second part its successors and assigns forever. And the said
John Nevin Sayre, William H. Sayre and A. N. Cleaver, Executors
parties of the first part, do covenant with said party of the
second part as follows :— FIRST; That the said John Nevin Sayre

first part, are seized of the said oremiqes in fee simple, and
hath good right to convey the same. S"C,OND; That the said party
of the second ;part shall quietly enjoy the said premises.
TFITRD:— That the said premises are free from encumbrances.
FOURTH; That the parties of the first part orin execute or
procure any further necessary asraraace of the, title to said
premises. FIFTH; That the said John Nevin Sayre, !7il.liam H.
Sayre and A. N. Cleaver, Executors, parties of the first part,
will forever. WARRANT the title to said premises.

hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year first above
written.

as, executors of the Last P/111 and Testament of Robert H. Sayre,
deceased, severally to me known and known to me to be the
Individuals described in, and who executed the foregoing in-
strument as such Executors, and they thereupon severa_11Y duly
acknowledged to me that they executed the same, as such
executors, to be their act and deed, to the end that the same
might be recorded as such. IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I have here-
