ORGANIZATIONAL
RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby
authorizes and directs Supervisor Jean W. Cochran to execute an
agreement between the Town of Southold and Gall Roschen, Certified
Court Reporter, for court reporting services for the Southold Town
Justice Court, for the period January 1, 1999 through December 31, 1999.

THIS AGREEMENT, made this ~th day of January, 1999 between the
TOWN OF SOUTHOLD, a municipal corporation of the State of New York
having its office and principal place of business at 53095 Main Road
Southold, Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New York 11971, and GAll
ROSCHEN, Certified Court Reporter, residing at 87 Hempstead Drive, Sound
Beach, New York 11789.
WHEREAS, the Town of Southold wishes to engage the services of Gall
Roschen, Certified Court Reporter, who will personally, or by her agent,
provide court reporting services to the Town of Southold Justice Court; and
WHEREAS, Gall Roschen has agreed to perform services as a Certified
Court Reporter to the Southold Town Justice Court;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS AC;REED AS FOLLOWS:
1. Wednesday sessions, and all other sessions for Judge Evans, will be
$125.00 per appearance from 9:30 A.M. to ~,:00 P.M., or any part thereof.
If an extra session is required after u,:00 P.M. there will be an
additional fee of $50.00 for two hours or any part thereof.
2. Jury Trials will be $125.00. If an extra session is required after
I~:00 P.M., there will be an additional fee of $50.00 for two hours or
part thereof.
3. If a jury trial is cancelled, unless u,8 hours notice is given, ther
w~ll be a fee of $75.00.
I~. If a scheduled Wednesday session, or any other scheduled sessior
is cancelled, unless 1~8 hours notice is given, there will be a fee of $75.00.
5. There will be a $3.00 per page fee for any transcript ot
proceedings required by the Town.
6. The above services will be provided at Wednesday sessions and jut'
trials for Judge Evans, Judge Price, or Judge Bruer by C;ail Roschen, o
her agents.
7. The term of this agreement shall be from January 1, 1999 througl
December 31, 1999.
