Mental Health Integration Grant Next Wellness series 8/6, Coping with Chronic Illness, Colleen Merlo will be

home. Call 369-0104. She also provided the group with copies of the NASW
Caring for Seniors in Suffolk County resource guide for caregivers. They will

be developing a web-based version that can accommodate updates and
changes.
Cynthia Bergemeyer
: Provided the group with information on her new cab
company that will focus on serving the local seniors and will be accepting
Medicaid and certain Medicare programs for transport to non-emergent
medical appointments. Regular fares will be $7.00 each way.
Robin Imandt
: They have finished the NFWFW survey with results pending.
She will be working collaboratively with Karen, Juliet and Robyn to develop a
North Fork resource guide.
Bruce Petrucci
: Working on a friendly visiting program using
computers/SKYPE.
Stephanie Pacchiano
: The new auto alert button is becoming very popular.
They will be contracting with NFWFW to provide lifeline services. As part of
the Senior Umbrella Network, she distributed a public awareness card on Do’s
and Don’t of Managing Medication and a Medication Checklist.
Tracy Zeweski
