Call to Order
D. McGreevy celled the meeting to order at 7:10 p.m.
BUSINESS
The Park Distdct having previously placed a Legal Notice in the Suffolk Times requesting sealed
bids for Mobile/Vending Machine Concessions at Park District Properties for the Summer 2010
Season received and opened the following sealed bids on this date:
Henry Alvarenga, 150 Twinlawns Avenue, Brentwood, New York 11717 for Mobile food
and snack items/beverages/beach sundries concession to be provided at Veterans Park
and Breakwater Beaches.
His proposal was to pay the Park District $250/year in two equal installments of $125
each. This bid was reviewed by the Commissioners and was the only bid received for
Mobile Vending.
Motion by D. McGreevy, seconded by N.Deegan, all in favor and motion cerded to
accept the proposal of Henry Alvarenga and award him the Mobile food/snack/
beverages/beach sundry concession bid.
Mr. Alvarenga has stated he will bdng the total payment of $250 to the Park Distdct on
Saturday, July 2, 2010.
L JR VENDING, 277 Vernon Valley Road, Northport, New York 11768 for Vending
Machine Concessions.
His proposal was to place three soda vending machines - one at Veterans Park, one at
Peconic Bay Ballfield and Beach and one at Breakwater Beach with a 20% commission
of total sales, minus tax and deposit, to be given to the Park District.
This bid was reviewed by the commissioners and was the only bid received.
Motion by D. McGreevy, seconded by N. Deegan, all in favor and motion carried to
accept the proposal of L JR Vending and award them the Vending Machine Concession
bid.

specifications and regulations as outlined in the Mattituck Park District (MPD)
