THIS IS TO CERTIFY THAT THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION NO. 2006-291 WAS ADOPTED AT
THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE SOUTHOLD TOWN BOARD ON MARCH 28, 2006:
RESOLVED that the Town Board ofthe Town of South old hereby amends Resolution No. 2006-178 adopted
at the January 31. 2006 reeular Town Board meetine to read as follows:
RESOLVED that the Town Board ofthe Town of Southold hereby appoints Michael Conroy as a full-time
Fishers Island Bay Constable, and hereby authorizes and directs Supervisor Scott A. Russell to execute an
aereement between the Town of Southold and Michael Conroy. Fishers Island. to perform services as a
Fishers Island Bay Constable for the purpose of patroIline the waters in and around the Town of
Southold at Fishers Island, at a compensation of$2,500.00 per annum, effective January I, 2006 through
December 31,2006, the Town to pay all expenses for fuel required for the operation ofMr. Conroy's boat while
he is performing services for the Town, and up to $250.00 during the term of the agreement for the servicing of
the motor ofMr. Conroy's boat, and shall reimburse Mr. Conroy for expenses for dock space, not to exceed
$705.50 per annum; and be it further
RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of South old hereby appoints Bruce Hubert and John Evans as
part-time Fishers Island Bay Constables, and hereby authorizes and directs Supervisor Scott A. Russell to
execute aereements between the Town of Southold and Bruce Hubert. Fishers Island. and John Evans.
Fishers Island. to perform services as Fishers Island Bay Constables for the purpose of patrolline the
waters in and around the Town of Southold at Fishers Island, at a compensation of$I,250.00 per annum,
effective January 1, 2006 through December 31,2006, the Town to pay all expenses for fuel required for the
operation of Mr. Hubert's boat and Mr. Evans' boat while they are performing services for the Town, and up to
$250.00 during the term ofthe agreement for the servicing ofthe motor of Mr. Hubert's boat and Mr. Evans'

boat, and shall reimburse Mr. Hubert for expenses for dock space, not to exceed $705.50 per annum, all in
accordance with the approval of the Town Attorney.

Re: Agreement of Employment
Dear Mr. Hubert:
This Agreement for Employment is made by and between the Town of Southold,
hereinafter "Employer", and Bruce Hubert, hereinafter "Employee", pursuant to Southold
Town Board Resolution No. 291 dated March 28, 2006.
The Employer shall employ Employee subject to the following terms and
conditions:
1. Employment for Employee shall be effective on January 1, 2006, until and
through December 31.. 2006.
2. The duties of Bay Constable shall be completely performed by the
Employee to the satisfaction of the Town Board of the Town of Southold. Employee
shall be assigned specifically to the area in and around the Town of Southold at Fishers
Island.
3. The Employee shall work a regularly scheduled eight (8) hour day and be
compensated at the prorated amount of $1 ,250.00 per annum.
4. The Town bf South old agrees to pay all reasonable expenses for fuel
required for the operation of Employee's boat while performing services for the Town,
and up to $250.00 during the term of this Agreement for the servicing of the motor of
Employee's watercraft
5. The Employee shall be reimbursed for expenses for dock space in an
amount not to exceed :$705.50 per annum. In the event that Town owned/leased
dockage becomes available, Employee shall use the Town owned/leased dockage and
will NOT be reimbursed for the cost of dock space.

6. The Employee agrees to comply with all stated standards of performance,
policies, rules and regulations of Employer.
7. This Agreement for Employment may terminate upon the occurrence of
any of the following events: (1) failure of Employee to perform his duties satisfactorily
after notice thereof; (2) for just cause based upon nonperformance of duties by
Employee; and (3) upon four (4) weeks written notice by either party.
Kindly acknowledge your acceptance by signing where indicated below and
returning it to the undersigned. This Agreement for Employment will be signed in three
(3) counterparts.
