SCHEDULE A
ALL that certain plot, piece or parcel of land, with the buildings
and improvements thereon erected, situate, lying and being in East
Marion, Town of Southold Suffolk County New York said premises
being bounded and described as follows:
BEGINNING at a monument set on the northerly'line of North Lane.
22.74 feet southerly from the southeasterly cQrner of'Lot No- 188
shown on "Map of Gardiners Bay Estates - Section 3", filed in
Suffolk County Clerk's Office as Map No. 5083;
RUNNING THENCE partly along North Lane and partly along said Lot
188, north 33 1' 20" east, 190 feet, more or less, to the shoreline
of Marion Lake;
THENCE easterly along said shoreline, 665 feet, more or less, to
land now or formerly of Lange;
THENCE along said land the following two courses: (1) south 18 30'
40" west, 65 feet, more or less, and (2) thence north 59 8' 40"
west, 20.47 feet to the easterly end of the northerly line of North
Lane;
THENCE along said northerly line of North Lane the following three
courses: (1) north 82 31' 20" west, 171-74 feet. (2) thence north
86 27' 10" west. 390.71 feet, and (3) thence due west, 146.07 feet
to the point or place of Beginning.
TOGETHER with any right, title and'interest the party of the first
part may have as to an easement to pass and repass over South Lane,
East Lane, West Lane and North Lane out over Sylvan Drive and Old
Orchard Lane to the main road for the purpose of access to said
premises from said highway.
BEING AND INTENDED TO BE the same premises as conveyed to the party
of the first part by the following deeds.
1. By deed from Lois Johnson Thorp, surviving tenant by the
entirety of Frank S. Thorp dated December 29, 1986 and recorded
with the Suffolk County Clerk on January 20, 1987 in Liber 10224 at
Page 350;
2. By deed from Lois Johnson Thorp, surviving tenant by the
entirety of Frank S. Thorp dated January 2, 1987 and recorded with
the Suffolk County Clerk on January 20, 1987 in Liber 10224 at
Page'352;
3. By deed from Aaron D. Thorp, Rebecca B. Thorp and Edward A.
Thorp, as Custodian for both Aaron P. Thorp and Rebecca B. Thorp .
dated April 28, 1996. and recorded with the Suffolk County Clerk on
September 5, 1996 in Liber 11790 at Page 951.
The Party of the First Part, for himself,'his heirs, successors and
assigns, and for Frank S. Thorp, his heirs, successors and assigns,
reserves a pedestrian right-of-way ten (10) feet in width which
right-of-way is located parallel to and along the westerly boundary
of the premises running from Due West North Lane to Marion Lake.
TOGETHER WITH the right to use the beach along Gardiner's Bay as
hereinafter described for bathing and similar purposes with an
easement for a right of way over the path leading from South Lane
to said beach.
The beach of which the use is granted to the party of the second
part and the right of way leading thereto is described as follows:
BEGINNING at a concrete monument at a point on the southeasterly
line of South Lane which is distant when measured along said line,
67.34 feet northeasterly of the northeasterly line of land now or
formerly of Flora E. Gernannt; and
RUNNING THENCE South 31 degrees 01 minutes 30 seconds East, 177.68
feet to a concrete monument;
THENCE southwesterly a straight line 67 feet, more or less, to the
point on the northeasterly line of said land now or formerly of
Gernannt, which point is distant 178.94 feet southeasterly of
South Lane when measured along Gernannt's land;
THENCE South 31 degrees 01 minutes 30 seconds East along said
land now or formerly of Flora E. Gernannt, 67.71 feet to the
ordinary high water mark of Gardiner's Bay;
THENCE northeasterly along said ordinary high water mark, 150.82
feet, more or less, to the point of its intersection with a line
drawn on the course South 31: degrees 01 minutes 30 seconds East
from a concrete monument on the southerly line of South Lane
distant 77.75 feet northeasterly from the point of beginning;
RUNNING THENCE North 31 degrees 01 minutes 30 seconds West,
56.87 feet, more or less, to a concrete monument;
THENCE southwesterly a straight line 70 feet, more or less, to a
concrete monument;
THENCE North 31 degrees 01 minutes 30 seconds West .179.37 feet
to a monument on the southerly side of South Lane; and
THENCE South 42 degrees 46 minutes 30 seconds West' along South
Lane, 10.41 feet to the point of BEGINNING.
This correction deed adds access easements and the right to use
the beach along Gardiner's Bay which was erroneously omitted from
the deed dated August 19, 1998 and recorded September 1, 1998, in
