RE: DUCK BLIND - EAST CREEK
Dear Mr. Showalter:
The Board of Trustees took the following action during its regular meeting held on Wed.,
Apdl 21, 2010 regarding the above matter:
WHEREAS, the Board members are familiar with the premises in question and the
surrounding area, and,
WHEREAS, the Board has considered the documentation submitted concerning this
application, and,
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the location of the duck blind, as applied for,
will have a detrimental effect upon the safety and general welfare of the people of the
town, and,
WHEREAS, the location of the proposed duck blind is a populated area, and,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Southold Town Board of Trustees DENIES the request of
CHRISTOPHER SHOWALTER to install a duck blind in East Creek and the end of
Harbor Lane, Cutchogue, as applied for.
