Dear Sirs:
I am in receipt of notice of a petition to the Southold Town Board
of Appeals concerning a zoning variance being sought on a parcel
of property adjacent to one that I own. The petitioners are Nick
and Anna Paleos and the Suffolk Tax Map number of the land ihvolved
is 1000-52-2-013.
Since I live in North Carolina, it would not be convenient for me
to visit your office in order to examine the relevant documents.
I am writing to find out whether you would be able to send me copies
of several items I feel I need in order to know whether to support
or oppose this petition. I would, of course, pay for all costs
involved in making this accomodation. I would require the following:
(a) a copy of that portion of the tax map which shows
the location of the petitioners' property relative
to mine;
(b) a copy of the AR80 zoning ordinance; and ~
(c) copies of Article I, Section 106-20 and Article III,
Section 100-31 of the Southold Town Zoning Code.
I would also be interested in finding out what my parcel, Tax Map
number 1000-52-2-014, is zoned.
I appreciate any assistance you are able to give me. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Meredith Brady

1. STRICT APPLICATION OF THE ORDINANCE would produce practicaldifficultlesorunneces-

not harm the charicertof the neighborhood and will enable us to get

for the perminent dwelling proposed to be built in the future.
The garage will be used to store temporarily our volkswagen car
as there is insufficient room for a garage on our lot on the north road.
2. The hardship created is UNIQUE and is not shored by all properties, alike in the immediate

and redivided many times by th~ ~r~viOus owner, resulting in an odd
shaped lot having a small rear yard fronting on Mill creek which would
be inadequate and inaccessable for a vehicle.
3. The Variance would obse~e the spirit of the O~inance and WOULD NOT CHANGE THE
