LOT Proceeding 6827 OFFICE OF PARKS, RECREATION & HISTORIC PRESERVATION Orient Beach State Park Proposal 1983 (Exchange) D E E D f This deed, made the ] u, day of G4p pQ� 1997, between KING KULLEN GROCERY CO. , INC. , a corporation organized under the laws of the State of New York, having its principal office at 11.94 Prospect Avenue, Westbury, New York 11590-2798 , Grantor, and THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, acting by and through the Commissioner of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, who has an office at Agency Building One, Empire State Plaza, Albany, New York 12238 , Grantees, WITNESSETH, that the Grantor, in consideration of the conveyance of certain lands in the Town of North Hempsted, Nassau County, New York, to be made by the Grantees to the Grantor, as authorized by S 3 . 17 of the Parks, Recreation & Historic Preservation Law, and pursuant to an Exchange Agreement dated May 1, 1997 , between the parties hereto, does hereby grant and release to the Grantees, their successors and assigns forever, ALL THAT CERTAIN LOT OR PARCEL OF LAND, situate, lying and being in the Hamlet of Orient, Town of Southhold, County of Suffolk and State of New York and being bounded and described as follows: BEGINNING at a point on the southerly side of Main Road 200. 39 feet westerly along said southerly side of Main Road from the northwesterly corner of the land of the Long Island State Park Commission and the northeasterly corner of the land now or formerly of E.H. King, said point of beginning being 200. 00 feet westerly from the easterly boundary of said land now or formerly of E.H. King measured at right angles thereto; from said point of beginning RUNNING THENCE along said land now or formerly of E.H. King the following 2 courses and distances: 1) Parallel to said easterly boundary line and 200. 00 feet westerly therefrom South 40 40' 05" East 731. 66 feet; 2) Parallel to said boundary line' and 200. 00 feet north- westerly therefrom, South 70 04' 00" West 424. 33 feet to the northwesterly line of a proposed 50-foot-wide road; RUNNING THENCE along the northwesterly line of said proposed road, South 470 31' 13" West 195. 44 feet; RUNNING THENCE through said land now or formerly of E.H. King, at right angles to said southerly side of Main Road, North 10 04 ' 20" West 1279 . 54 feet to said southerly side of Main Road; RUNNING THENCE along said southerly side of Main Road North 880 551 40" East 160. 76 feet to the point or place of beginning. TOGETHER with a Right of Way over said proposed 50-foot-wide road from the southeasterly corner of the premises, running northeasterly and northerly to the Main Road and also from said southeasterly corner of the premises, running southwesterly and northerly to said Main Road. TOGETHER with the appurtenances and all the estate, rights and interest of the Grantor in and to the premises. BEING and intending to convey the same premises conveyed to the Grantor herein by deed from Jack Caravanos and Cleo Mirros, dated December 12, 1995 and recorded December 14, 1995 in Liber 11754 of deeds at page 368 . , The property described above does not constitute all or substantially all of the assets of the Grantor. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above granted premises unto the Grantees, their successors and assigns forever.
