Call to Order
Chairman Deegan called the meeting to order at 6:34 p.m.
Veterans Memorial Park Septic System Bid Award
Resolution 2009-39 Awarding the Bid and Authorizing Contract for the Installation of New
Septic System at Veterans Memorial Park was at this time approved by Commissioners Deegan
and McGreevy.
Motion by D. McGreevy, seconded by N. Deegan, all in favor, and motion carried to enact
Resolution 2009-39 and award the bid to Albrecht Landscaping, the lowest, responsible bidder.
PUBLIC COMMENT SESSION
Russ Williamson informed the Board that he has surveillance cameras at his house watching the
parking lot at Veterans Park and is working with the East End Task Force documenting drug
dealings at that location.
D. McGreevy asked him is he had called the police and he responded that he had not and that he
would have to be calling them every five minutes.
He stated that the drug dealer uses the Bay Avenue extension to the beach and drug dealings
occur over the fence. A Mr. Knapp was present who spoke about his past dealings with drug
dealers.
Discussions took place regarding the Community Room at Veterans Park with questions
concerning the number of people that will use it, the septic system, and whether it would be for
commercial or residential use. N. Deegan answered residential use only
There being no further business to come before the meeting, motion by N. Deegan, seconded by
D. McGreevy, all in favor, and motion carried to adjourn the meeting at 7:00 p.m.

AWARDING THE BID AND ~UTHORIZING CONTRACT FOR

Board has determined that the firm of Albrecht Landscaping, 5665
tuck, New York submitted the lowest, responsible bid;
IT RESOLVED, that thc Board of Commissioners of thc Mattituck
by awards the bid and authorizes a contract to be ~ntered into between
District and Albrecht Landscaping for the installation of a new septic
Memorial Park; and
RESOLVED that such contract is to be signed and accepted by Scott
eipal of Albrecht Landscaping.
