HomeMy WebLinkAbout01/2010TOWN OF SOUTHOLD RECREATION DEPARTMENT MONTHLY REPORT: JANUARY 2010 2010 SPORTS LEAGUES: Letters were mailed out last year to all Southold Town Sports Leagues notifying them that due to budget constraints, the town will not be able to donate sports equipment as it has in the past years. LIFEGUARD TRAINING PROGRAM: An American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Program began on Saturday, January 23. This is a joint program with the Riverhead Recreation Department in an ongoing effort to ensure both towns with qualified lifeguards to staff our beaches in the summer months. SPRING 2010 BROCHURE: is in the process of being finalized and will be an insert in the March 4th edition of The Suffolk Times. Following is a tentative listing of programs and activities offered for the spring 2010 season.
