En-Consultants, Inc. on behalf of CHARLES CASARONA & JOSEPH CASARONA requests
a Wetland Permit and Coastal Erosion Permit to restore washed out area of bluff face in
conjunction with neighboring property owner to west via placement of portion of approx. 220
cy. clean sand and erosion-control matting; planting of native vegetation; construction of
portions of two vinyl terrace retaining walls; and establishment of a portion of 15' wide non-turf
buffer (inclusive of 3' wide planted berm). Located: 55 Glen Court, Cutchogue. SCTM#83-1-
36.1
The proposed action has been reviewed to Chapter 268, Waterfront Consistency Review of the
Town of Southold Town Code and the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP) Policy
Standards. Based upon the information provided on the LWRP Consistency Assessment
Form submitted to this department, as well as the records available to me, it is my
recommendation that the proposed action is CONSISTENT with the Policy Standards and
therefore is CONSISTENT with the LWRP.

Pursuant to Chapter 268, the Board of Trustees shall consider this recommendation in
preparing its written determination regarding the consistency of the proposed action.

and other ministerial permits not located within the Coastal Erosion Hazard Area.
Before answering the questions in Section C, the preparer of this form should review the exempt
minor action list, policies and explanations of each policy contained in the Town of Southold Local
Waterfront Revitalization Program. A proposed action will be evaluated as to its significant
beneficial and adverse effects upon the coastal area (which includes all of Southold Town).
If any question in Section C on this form is answered "yes" or "no", then the proposed action will
affect the achievement of the LWRP policy standards and conditions contained in the consistency
review law. Thus,, each answer must be explained in detail,~ listine both suooortim, and non-
suvoortin~ facts. If an action cannot be certified as consistent with the LWRP policy standards and
conditions, it shall not be undertaken.

erosion-control matting, and indigenous plantings in conjunction with the minimal use of structural remedies (two terrace retaining walls
designed to maximize the potential for the successful establishment of the fill and plantings) to restore, stabilize, and enhance an eroded
bluff(the natural resource and natural protective feature) and minimize the potential future damage and loss associated with the flooding
and erosion of that resource.
