SOUTHOLD TOWN LAND PRESERVATION COMMITTEE
MINUTES
The Southold Town Land Preservation Committee held a regular meeting
on Wednesday, April 22, 1992 at 7:30 p.m. at Southold Town Hall.
Present were:
Art Ross, Chairman
Gerry Dennehy, Member
Dick Ryan, Member
Charlie Lauer, Member
Doug McGahan, Member
John Simi¢ich, Member
Tom Wickham, Councilman
The Minutes of the March 10, 1992 meeting were approved as read.
Old Business:
Timothy Coffey - there has been no response from Mr. Coffey; therefore,
his application will be withdrawn.
John Krupski - will keep his application on file. He is only interested
in selling the fee on his property.
Hiram Moody - Art received a letter from Mr. 'Calhoun of FIDCO. In it he
said he would contact Art in a few weeks.
Herbert Henry - Art will write to Mrs. Henry, as she is now the owner
of this property at the end of Down's Creek to see if, perhaps, she is
interested in submitting it to the program.

Madeline & Vernon Moelius - The appraisal on this property came in at
$7,000.00 per acre. A motion was made and seconded to recommend to
the Town Board that the Town purchase the development rights on this
property. All were in favor.
John Zuhoski - The committee received the appraisal on this property.
A motion was made and seconded that Art inform Mr. Zuhoski of the
appraisal price. All were in favor.
Barry Berkman - North side - 30 acres, South side - 38 acres; Develop-
ment Rights $7,500.00 per acre. A motion was made and seconded that
the Chairman contact Mr. Berkman and tell him of our interest in the
north side 30 acre parcel and ask him if he might be interested. All
were in favor.
Ralph Pugliese - The committee reviewed the appraisal on this property -
the development rights are $6,250.00 per acre. Art will speak to Andy to
clarify the location of the 20 acres offered.
Cassidy property - 49.7 acre parcel, Albertson Lane, Greenport. Since
the Peconic /and Trust appears to be interested in this property, we will
put it on hold.
San Andres Vineyards - Art will speak to Dick Winters regarding the
appraisal on this property.
With no further business to be discussed, the meeting ended at 9:45 p.m.
The next meeting of the Southold Town Land Preservation Committee will
be held on Tuesday, May 12, 1992 at 7:30 p.m. at Southold Town Hall.
