Box 1179 Southold, NY 11971-0959 Dear Sir, qVladam: On September 9, 2009, we had a site visit by the Trustees of the Town of Southold. The purpose of the visit was to review our request for permission to place a non-permanent (removable) walkway with railings on the beach. The walkway, as shown in the enclosed picture, would meet ADA requirements of four feet wide with raised railings of three feet in height. The walkways would consist of two, eighteen-foot long walkways or three, twelve-foot long walkways which would accommodate the contours of the beach. These measurements were based upon suggested comments by the visiting trustees. As stated in our letter of August 27, 2009, this approval will allow physically challenged residents to take advantage of all the benefits that Peconic Landing has to offer. If there are anyother questions that have to be answered in order to receive a positive determination, please do not hesitate to ask. Thank you for your time and effort on behalf of the residents we serve. Sincerely yours, cc: Robert Syron - CEO Darryl Volinski - Director Environmental Services File Encl.
