New York 11971 Fax (516) 765-1823 Telephone (516) 765-1801 LAND PRESERVATION COMMITTEE TOWN OF SOUTHOLD MEETING - NOVEMBER 18, 1996 at 7:30 p.m. NOV 2 7 19° Town Clerk Southold MINUTES Present were: Joe Gold, Jim Rich, Jim Pim, Fred Lee, Tom Madigan, Michael Croteau and Ruth Oliva. The committee discussed the Anna Fiore property. The Peconic Land Trust is buying the entire Fiore property on a bargain sale and they will sell the development rights on the farm area to the Town. The committee reviewed all of the applications that had been set aside until the referendum was passed. A motion was made by Jim Rich and seconded by Michael Croteau to recommend to the Town Board that the Lois Woodhull property on Elijah Lane in Mattituck be appraised. All were in favor. A motion was made by Michael Croteau and seconded by Tom Madigan to recommend to the Town Board that the Cecil and Marion Young property on Route 25 in Laurel be appraised. All were in favor. A motion was made by Michael Croteau and seconded by Fred Lee to recommend to the Town Board that the Gatz/McDowell property on Oregon Road in Cutchogue be appraised. All were in favor. A motion was made by Michael Croteau and seconded by Fred Lee to recommend to the Town Board that the Dzugas-Smith property on Tuckers Lane in Southold be appraised. All were in favor. The committee reviewed Laury Dowd's memo regarding development rights' protection.
