preservation. The committee reviewed the new survey map.
George Conway application (63-1-1.5) located on Horton's Lane, Southold.
It is only 8.5 acres but it is a nice piece of property. A motion was
made by Joe Krukowski and seconded by Noreen McKenna to recommend
to the Town Board that an appraisal be done on this property. All
were in favor.
The committee discussed a property in East Marion. The property is
adjacent to Pebble Beach. It is a long, narrow parcel. Dick will try
to find the name of the owner and send him a letter to see if he is
interested in selling the development rights.
Scott application (102-2-23) - Noreen will follow through with this.
Tim Caufield said the Hoot Sherman was meeting this Thursday with
the Scotts. He will ask Hoot to give Noreen a call.
John Sidor application (107-10-3 & 6) Reed contacted John Sidor. He
is concerned about the rightqof-way on the map. Reed told him it is
important to get the map finished. The survey will be done soon. He
would like to keep the lots on the northside. The committee felt that
Mr. Sidor should come in to see the Planning Board.
DiBartolo application (127-3-6.1) it is wetland property on Brushes
Creek in Laurel. Dick got a copy of the property record card. It
was purchased in 1994 for $210,000.00. About 75% of the property is
wetland affected. Dick will contact Mr. DiBartolo to see what he is
looking for.
