(631) 765-1809 Fax (631) 765-9064 MINUTES SPECIAL MEETING THURSDAY, JUNE 6, 2002 A Special Meeting of the SOUTHOLD TOWN ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS was held at the Southold Town Annex Building (North Fork Bank), Second Floor, Executive Board Room, 54375 Main Road, Southold. Present were: Gerard P. G0ehringer, Chairman/Member Lydia A. Tortora, Member Ruth D. Oliva, Member Vincent Orlando, Member Linda Kowalski, ZBA Administrative Secretary Absent was: George Horning, Member 6:55 P.M. Chairman Gerard P. Goehringer called the meeting to order and proceeded with agenda items as follows: STATE ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY REVIEW: No updates at this time, reviews are pending. DELIBERATIONS/POSSIBLE DECISIONS/RESOLUTIONS OR OTHER: The Board deliberated on the following applications. The originals of each of the following applications were decided, with the original determinations filed with the Southold Town Clerk: Interpretation Rendered (Reversal Denied) KACE LI, INC. #5003 Page 2 - Minutes Special Meeting held June 6, 2002 Southold Town Zoning Board of Appeals Approved PAUL FRIED #5108 Grant of Alternative Relief with Conditions LEWIS FAMILY/EAST END MARINE #5109 PUBLIC HEARINGS: The following public hearings were held with Chairman Goehringer introducing each application, and Member reading of the Legal Notice as published: 7:12 p.m. Appeal # 5068: GLENN and CHRISTINE DAWSON. 150 Broadwaters Road, Cutchogue; 104.-10-8. (Resolution of April 28, 2002 recessed the hearing to this meeting calendar.) S. Angel, Esq., Nancy Hawthorne-Cinotts; Robert Cipitelh, Esq., opposition. BOARD RESOLUTION: (Please see transcript of written statements prepared under separate cover.) After receiving testimony, motion was offered by Chairman Goehringer, seconded by Member Orlando, to recess the hearing to June 20, 2002. Vote of the Board: Ayes: All. This Resolution was duly adopted (4-0). Member Horning was absent. 8:10 p.m. Appeal No. 5084:640 CHURCH ST., LLC. (Received survey of existing house with access shown from CR 48). Await PB and submission by applicant to PB of parking, screening, and other information. ZBA Resolution necessary to calendar and advertise the amended application (Town Law Variance 280-A) to a future meeting date, and requesting applicant to proceed with Notice Requirements under Ch. 58. BOARD RESOLUTION: (Please see transcript of written statements prepared under separate cover.) After receiving testimony, motion was offered by Chairman Goehringer, seconded by Member Oliva, to recess the hearing to August 22, 2002. Vote of the Board: Ayes: All. This Resolution was duly adopted (4-0). Member Horning was absent. RESOLUTIONS/UPDATED REVIES/OTHER: A. Cl~airman Goehringer confirmed the next Regular Meeting 6:15 PM to be held on Thursday, June 20, 2002, Sonthold Town Hall, 53095 Main Road, Southold, NY 11971. RESOLUTION ADOPTED: Motion was offered Chairman Goehringer, seconded by Member Oliva, and duly carried to calendar and advertise amended application of Appl. No. 5085 - 640 CHURCH ST., LLC for August 22, 2002 Regular Meeting. Vote of the Board: Ayes: All. This Resolution was duly adopted (4-0). Member Horning was absent. C. Discussion of work assignments for future meeting agendas. There being no other business properly coming before the Board at this time, Chairman Goehringer declared the meeting adjourned.
