They would really like to have 2 handrails because they are concerned for the safety of their three young children, all of whom are younger than age 8. If this kind of safety concern does not rise to the Trustees' standard for the need for 2 handrails, then they will accept approval for one handrail. I want to mention that we are also seeking approval for the dock to equipped with water and electricity, which I've indicated in the notes of the project plan I submitted with the application. However, I think the project description in our application only mentions electricity, so please let me know if this email will suffice to have our request amended to include water service or if we need to send you something else in writing. Construction of the permitted dock was recently completed, but the DiBaris would like to add handrails to the dock since they have three small children, aged 8 years of age and younger.
