District. The Board cannot waive site plan requirements for a
use that is not permitted by the Zoning Code. Nor can the Board
approve a site plan for a use that is not permitted.

Dear Mr. Orlowski,
The building owner of tax lot 1000-45-4-5.1, just west of the
village of Greenport (survey and photo attached) would like to
convert the building from business use to residential use. The
building, originally a house, is in a business zone and the owner

On behalf of the owner, I would like to request a waiver of the
site plan requirements, since we propose no change in the
existing building footprint. The area marked on the existing
survey as one story will have a second story added that will not
exceed the height of the existing two story portion of the
building. Existing off street parking and drainage are adequate
for the multi-family use. Application is being made to the
zoning board for the special exception use. Please advise me at
your earliest convenience as to the possibility of granting a
waiver of your site plan requirements.
