The event we are contemplating will be a wine tasting and bar-b- que on Saturday evening and would include serving of wines from the North Fork wineries. We would like to hold it on the grounds of the Hargrave winery. Fur- ther, proceeds from the event will be donated to Stonybrook for their research center for Lyme's dis- ease. We are hopeful that we will be able to sell be- tween 300-500 tickets to the event. We understand that Alex Hargrave has spoken to you regarding this matter and that you have advised him that the town board needs to approve this event in or- der that it may be permitted. Please consider this letter a formal request for permission to hold the event on August 18 at the Hargrave winery in Cutchogue. I look forward to hearing from you.
