This site plan is for a new 1,840 sq. ft. building with 857 sq. ft. of retail floor display, 738 sq. ft. for food preparation, including a utility/bathroom and 245 sq. ft. of storage with no public access on a 0.22 acre parcel in the B Zone located on the n/e corner of NYS Road 25 and Legion Avenue, in Mattituck. However, we wish to draw attention to an issue, which we would like to have addressed in the approval process, Patrons of the deli have historically parked along the easterly portion of the cemetery property. Often these vehicles would be parked on the grass, which over time created potholes and a generally unsightly conditior~ If parking is anticipated in the street, a proper concrete curb should be installed to protect the cemetery property.
