Bus Shelters

Further to your telephonic request, enclosed is some matedal on the bus
shelters. The shelters cost between $18-20,000 and are funded by the Suffolk
County Department of Public Works. This also covers the installation of the
shelter in the village. The village is required to enter into an agreement with the
county regarding maintenance and upkeep.
As ) indicated to Theresa Taylor last week, we need a letter from the village
requesting a shelter should you decide to go ahead. I will then put it into the
hands of the DPW representative who sits with me on the East End
Transportation Council Board.
We look forward to your joining us at the next meeting scheduled on December
17th.
