Mr. Manning states that the fence was constructed during the stmuner of 1970. The zoning regulations in effect at that time, "BUILDING ZONE ORDINANCE, May 24, 1966", do not contain any limitations on fences, either in height or in location on a property. Linda Cooper of the Town Clerk's Office states that the regulations were not amended in this regard through November 23, 1971. She said that her statement is based upon her search of all Local Laws passed between the dates indicated above, and her search of the minutes of the Town Board meetings held between those dates.
