This portion of the property, however, appears to be a drainage area and should be referred to the Southold Town Highway Dept. for their review before any activity commences. There is also annexed a copy of a survey dated July 18, 2002 with an updated inspection dated December 23, 2008. As you can see on the survey, there is a body of water on the property indicated on the survey as a "pond". My clients wish to clean up or completely remove it from the property, However, the Trustees must first determine whether or not Southold maintains jurisdiction over the "pond".
