· On going trail maintenance on Laurel Lake, Downs Farm,
Arshamomaque, Arshamomaque Pond, Dam Pond and Mill Road
Preserves.
· Attended a meeting with Mark Terry and Jamie Richter on the
Goldsmith Inlet Management Plan.
· Attended several meetings at the Animal Shelter, in reference to
work to be done by DPW at the completion of construction of the
facility.
· Planted trees and shrubs at the Animal Shelter that were donated to
the Town by Trimble's Nursery and Northeast Nursery.
· On site meetings with the contractor for the Bittner Preserve Project,
in reference to removal of the house, pool and bulkhead.
· Meetings in reference to Streetlight Reconciliation Project with a
completion date scheduled for September 2009.
· Moved sheds and temporary pens at the Animal Shelter.
· Planted grass seed in and around new pens at the Animal Shelter
· Installed a new sign on the Southold Recreation Center.
· Completed a road end restoration project at the end of Young's
Road, Orient.
· Completed a road end restoration project at the end of Gillette
Drive, east Marion.
· New room partitions have been delivered to the Peconic Recreation
Center.
· Installed new signs for the Animal Shelter.
· Attended the Fishers Island Town Board Meeting.
· Meeting with NYSDEC Freshwater Wetlands staff in reference to
Bittner Preserve and a project on Sivlermere Road, Greenport.
· Meetings with Melissa Spiro in reference to the 2010 CPF
Stewardship Budget.
· Attended a Stormwater Committee meeting.
· Working on the 2010 Deer Management Program.
· Picked up garbage (2) at Tall Pines Preserve from a clean up project
by Boy Scout Troop 6.
· Completed the re-surfacing of the basketball court on Fishers Island.
· Submitted additional information to the Land Preservation
Committee in reference to emergency access to Laurel Lake
· Meeting with the Nature Conservancy on the Bittner Preserve.
· Attended a Workplace Violence Workshop.
· Meeting with the Supervisor and Police Department on New Suffolk
and Horton's Point road end and beach issues.
