Russell to retain Offshore & Coastal Technoiogies~ Incorporated to provide comments on additional scoping items in connection with the proposed shorteninF of the Goldsmith Inlet iet .ty, pursuant to their Proposal dated June 12, 2009, at a cost not to exceed $ t,500.00, subject to the approval of the Town Attorney. Box 1368 Chadds Ford, PA t9317 Tel. 610-361-0424 Fax 6t 0-361-0425 Proposal to Comment on Potential Additional Scoping Items Goldsmith Inlet, Town of Southold, New York 611212009 Objeotive During the past several months, the Town of Southold Council has held scoping sessions to accommodate public commentary about shortening alternatives being Considered for the Goldsmith Inlet Jetty. The commentary and supplemental letters were provided to OCTI by Mr. Jamie Richter along with a summary of the items that are considered relevant, The Town has requested that OCTI provide some review and commentary on the relevant items as they relate to prior studies performed by OCTI for the Goldsmith Inlet Jetty Shortening projeot. Work ,Scope OCTI will review the documents provided by the town that were generated during and after the scoping sessions. Responses will be made, if possible, to as many of the 'concerns and questions as possible, without performing additional analysis or modelling. If additional analysis and/or modelling are recommended to address particular items, OCTI will identify an appropriate approach and cost for consideration by the Town. The responses will be provided to the Town in a memorandum and discussed with the Town and its representatives via'telephone conference call. propOSed Cost Total Proposed Cost Lump Sum $1,500.00 Schedule This project can completed within 3 weeks of receipt official notice-to-proceed from the Town of Southold.
