The purchase price for the easement is $67,000 (sixty-seven thousand dollars) per buildable acre plus acquisition costs. The easement will be acquired using Community Preservation Funds. Town funding for this purchase is in conformance with the provisions of Chapter 17 (Community Preservation Fund) and Chapter 70 (Agricultural Lands Preservation) of the Town Code of the Town of Southold.
