The work covered by this application may not be commenced before issuance of Building Permit. d. Upon approval of this application, the Building Inspector will issue a Building Permit to the applicant. Such a permit shall be kept on the premises available for inspection throughout the work. e. No building shall be occupied or used in whole or in part for any purpose what so ever until the Building Inspector issues a Certificate of Occupancy. f. Every building permit shall expire if the work authorized has not commenced within 12 months after the date of issuance or has not been completed within 18 months from such date. Thereafter, a new permit shall be required. Goehringer, residing at 1305 Bayview Ave. Mattituck do hereby State, "that I constructed the first story of the addition in 1985 and I received a CO from the Southold Town Building Dept. after completing this first story room on the rear of my dwelling." The nature of the new Building Permit is to enclose the second story of this 1985 addition. The purpose of this construction is to eliminate the only flat roof on my home. Also, to create a seasonal porch on the proposed second story, as shown in the plans submitted. Please note that the porch will be of single wall construction, with studs showing on the interior walls. The second story addition will have no heat no air conditioning, no insulation, no interior walls, and no electricity.
