Prior to issuing a New York State Highway Work Permit, the following items must be indicated on a revised plan: Show installation of concrete curb and sidewalk full frontage of property. Five foot wide sidewalk with a five foot wide grass area between curb and sidewalk. 2. Show the installation of a 30'-0" wide standard drop curb and apron. Show all utility poles, signs and text, hydrant, basins full frontage of property. Provide Maintenance and Protection of Traftic plan to be used on Route 25. No lane closings are permitted from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. and from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. No lane closings are permitted on weekends or holidays. Show details and item numbers for the items indicated above in accordance with the enclosed booklets. We will require three copies of a revised plan addressing the comments indicated above. Please note that the site was originally used as a service station, which was abandoned in 1978, approximtely. The proposed use is for retail sales of gasoline and a convenience store. The proposed two (2) curb cuts are to facilitate access for gasoline delivery vehicles, as well as controlled ingress to and egress from the site. No ~urbing or sidewalk exists on either side of NYS Rt. 25 in the immediate vicinity. Please return one site plan noted with your comments, so that we may continue with the site plan approval process at Southold Town.
