Dear Mr. Orlowski and Members of the Board:
I have been retained by Pequot Inn Associates to represent
them with respect to desired improvements to the Pequot Inn on
Fisher's Island. Please consider this a formal request for
presubmission conference to meet and discuss the proposed uses
and development of this site with you.
I believe that Planning Board member Edwards may have a copy
of the site plan indicating the proposed improvements to the
Inn. If there is anything further I can provide to you before
this conference, please do not hesitate to contact us.

At the request of Planning Board member Ken Edwards, the zoning
line was checked on the above mentioned property.
A 1980 tax map showed the present lot as two parcels. On October
11, 1983 the two lots were combined into the present parcel
9-5-11.1.
A check of the zoning map shows the zoning line follows the
boundary of lots 10 and 11 on the 1980 zoning map. The Inn is in
the General Business zone and the rest of the property is in the
R-40 zone.
Mr. Edwards mentioned the Inn is now for sale and the owner was
told the entire property was in the businees zone.
This letter and research will now clear up this matter.
The correct maps have been sent to Mr. Edwards who will inform
the owner of the Pequot Inn.
