Animal Shelter:
Coordination of Punch List Items with Pdme Contractors.
Coordination and preparation to begin the required demolition work.
Coordination of final site design and implementation & layout of required work.
Calibration of Fire Alarm System with Lighthouse Security.
Coordination of Asphalt pavement and fencing as per Town Board Approval.
Preparation & Processing of Invoices for work completed to date.
Coordination with Town DPW Personnel regarding demolition issues and tree removal.
Planning Board:
On-going reviews of Site Plan & Subdivision Applications.
Compliance with Drainage Code and Highway Specifications.
Meetings with Planning Staffto Review Projects & recpmmend modifications for compliance.
Goldsmith Inlet Jetty Project:
On-going SEQRA process. Meetings with Chick Vorheis, Conference call with
NYSDOS, NP&V, Town Attorney, Jim McMahon & Offshore Coastal Technologies.
Goldsmith Inlet Management Plan Prepare drainage alternatives to existing conditions.
MS4 Storm-water Requirements:
Attended Monthly Meeting / review of federal requirements and coordination
of compliance efforts with other East End Towns.
Numerous meetings with John Sepenoski, Re; Notice of Intent and Storm-water Mapping.
MS4 Meetings & coordination with Been Kee0an. Sea Grants / DEC representative.
Storm-water meetings:
Meeting held with Mark Terry, Peter Harris. Jim McMahon and others to review drainage
problem areas and discuss alternatives to achieve compliance with the Drainage Code.
Coordination with SCWA related to moving existing Water Main to expedite Hashamomuck
drainage projects on Long Creek Drive. (Project funded by DEC Grant - Mark Terry)
Meeting to discuss Wind Energy Proposal from Eastern Energy Systems.
Sea Air Lane Community-
Request for minimum requirements related to Dedication of there road to the Town.
Written Report to Peter Harris.
Board of Trustees:
Review drainage pla~s & Coastal Erosion issues as requested by Town Trustees
LWRP - Monthly meeting to review program requirements and discuss general consistency ~ssues.
Peconic School Project:
Review of renovation Bids with Iow Bidder.
Held meeting to Value Engineer project in an effort to re-scope project within Budget.
Conducted various site inspections with the contractor.
Meeting with Corazzini Asphalt, (representing NKC), to review restoration of Town Beach Parking lot.
"NKC" is the contractor who used the parking area to perform the County Drainage Project.
Transportation Commission:
Reviewed complaints related to sight distance on County Route 48.
Contacted SCDPW to review issues.
Reviewed drainage problems associated with the New Route 25 Bridge in Greenport
with project engineer, Joe Ludwig, DOT.
Hamlet Implementation Panel:
Meeting with Mark Terry & Peter Harris to re,Jiew the request of the Fishers Island HIP.
Coordination with Highway and PD for escort to the island to review the problems in person.
Bittner Preserve:
Preparation of plans for DEC Permits.
Preparation of plans and Bid Documents for the demolition of the House & Bulkhead.
Fishers Island Basketball Resurfacing Project. Preparation of Bid Specifications
Transfer Station - Concrete Foundation for new Compost Bagger / Metal Building.
Preparation of Plans, Specifications and Bid Documents for new foundation
Mitchell Property Drainage Easement. Coordinate new Survey and Preparation of Deed Description.
Ongoing review of road opening permits / inspections.
Department of Transportation Seawall Project:
Review & coordination of proposed seawall expansion project to upgrade easterly end of
existing seawall. Contact at DOT - Greg Williams.
New design to be maintained as pedestrian friendly.
nterpretive Signage Project:
Coordination of Phase Two - Preparation of bid packages for the
Design, Construction and Installation of Kiosks and interpretive signage
LIPA meeting to review alternatives to street lighting in the Town of Southold.
Coordination and confirmation of existing street lighting inventory.
Parks & Recreation: Schematic site design.
Preparation of plans and schematic outlines for sports fields / for DPW.
Investigation of drainage complaints on behalf of the Highway Department.
Coordination and design of new drainage facilities to reduce storm water related issues.
Coordination with DEC to review Storm-water related issues. (Silvermere Road -
Prepare Schematic Plans for review and comment.)
Building Department SWPPP Review:
Review of storm-water pollution prevention plans. Compliance with Chapter 236
Recommendations for best management practice related to building construction permits.
