Dear Mr. & Mrs. Cosola:
The following action was taken by the Southold Town Board of Trustees at their Regular
Meeting held on Wednesday, June 24, 2009:
RESOLVED, that the Southold Town Board of Trustees DISAPPROVE the mooring
permit application of PETER & STEHPANIE COSOLA for an onshore/offshore stake in
Corey Creek area for a vessel no larger than 18' due to Southold Town Code § 275-
11(c), Construction & Operation Standards, Regulations for the Placement &
Configuration of Docking Facilities: Only one catwalk may be permitted per residential
lot. Only one moodng or dock may be permitted per residential lot. Upon a showing of
special need due to Iow water level and hazard to property, the Trustees may permit
both a mooring and a dock for the same residential property. At this time, the Board of
Trustees determined that the water level is adequate in the area around the dock for
vessels.
