Steiner and Jack A. Steiner, owners of a parcel of property at Mattituck, fronting on a right of way running South from the Main Road, known as John's Road. Enclosed is a xerox copy of the Suffolk County Tax Map showing the location of the property shaded in pink. We have had forwarded to us copies of the letter of Rudolph Bruer dated June 20, 1986 and the Town Clerk's replies dated July 2nd and July 8th pertaining to this property. The property was first purchased from John Boutcher on March 14, 1962 by William A. and Florence E. Steiner and shortly thereafter they purchased a mobile home which is currently on the property and which was used by Mr. & Mrs. Steiner and then by Mrs. Steiner until her death in 1986. The parcel is a nice size parcel consisting of .48 acres. The property has always been kept in a neat condition and there never have been any objections to the structure. Roy J. Schoenhaar is desirous of purchasing the property, together with the mobile home, so that he may use the mobile home as a residence for a nurse and her family, who is taking care of Mr. Schoenhaar's mother. He cannot buy the property, however, unless the permit is continued on account of the cost of building a new residence upon it. We would also like to call your attention to another mobile home on the same right of way in the rear of the real estate office of Joan Yetter, shaded in yellow on the enclosed tax map. We believe that Mrs. Yetter purchased this property in 1984 and it is our understanding that the mobile home continues to be occupied. There are also two other mobile homes on lots, designated in green. Stiner to Roy J. Schoenhaar. The Board's resolution called for the denial of the transfer of the permit from Steiner to Schoenhaar, but the resolution failed to receive a majority vote of the Town Board, and was deemed lost.
