The proposed action has been reviewed to Chapter 95, Waterfront Consistency Review of
the Town of South old Town Code and the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program
(L WRP) Policy Standards. Based upon the information provided on the L WRP
Consistency Assessment Form submitted to this department, as well as the records
available to me, it is my recommendation that the proposed action is generally
CONSISTENT with the Policy Standards and therefore is CONSISTENT with the
L WRP provided that:
1. If feasible, the installation of a silt boomltnrbiditv screen durin!! construction
activities is required to minimize turbidity in the water column.
Pursuant to Chapter 95, the Board of Trustees shall consider this recommendation in
preparing its written determination regarding the consistency of the proposed action.

This assessment is intended to supplement other information used by a ~~~ertGy.'I<"_
in making a determination of consistency. *Except minor exempt actions including Building
Permits and other ministerial permits not located within the Coastal Erosion Hazard Area.
2. Before answering the questions in Section C, the preparer of this form should review the exempt
minor action list, policies and explanations of each policy contained in the Town of Southold
Local Waterfront Revitalization Program. A proposed action will be evaluated 0 its significant
beneficial and adverse effects upon the coastal area (which includes all ofS thold Town).
3. If any question in Section C on this [onn is answered "yesl1, then the reposed action may affect
the achievement of the L WRP policy standards and conditions co ined in the consistency review
law. Thus, the action should be analyzed in more detail and, if cessary, modified prior to making
a determination that it is consistent to the maximum extent acticable with the L WRP policy
standards and conditions. If an action cannot be certified s consistent with the L WRP policy
standards and conditions, it shall not be undertaken.

community character, preserves open space, makes efficient use of infrastructure, makes
beneficial use of a coastal location, and minimizes adverse effects of development. See L WRP
Section III - Policies; Page 2 for evaluation criteria.

dock is similar to neil!hborinl! docks on adiacent orooerties and the existinl! Marina

recreational use of water ways. The size of the dock is the minimum necessary to
provide for access to riparian owner. The size of the proposed dock is consistent
with neil!:hborinl!: docks. The proposed dock is smaller then many of the
neil!:hborinl!: docks on Gull Pond Inlet. The dock materials are from an approved
list and is elevated to permit Iil!:ht and air to pass to the underlvinl!: vel!:etation. Dock
will not interfere with public access.
