RESOLUTION 2009-256 ADOPTED DOC ID' 4874 THIS IS TO CERTIFY THA'[ THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION NO. 2009-256 WAS ADOPTED AT THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE SOUTHOLD TOWN BOARD ON MARCH 24, 2009: RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby authorizes Supervisor Scott A. Russell to retain Nelson~ Pope & Voorhis~ LLC to perform a SEQRA review for an amendment to the Water Map regarding properties known as SCTM Nos. 1000-55-1-5.1 and 1000-55-2-8.5, in accordance with their Proposal dated March 17, 2009, at a cost not to exceed $1,750.00 (Budget Line A.1010.4.500.300), subject to the approval of the Town Attorney. 'SCTM# 1000-55-1-5.1 and I000-55;2-8:5 Thank you for ~o~i~cting Nelsori~'i~i~i~d & Voorhis-for envii'onmental-~:onsfiltiflg compliance for the requested water main connection at the above referenced site. As you know~ NP&V completed an environmental assessment on behalf of the Town for the adoption of the 2006 Water Supply Plan Map and we are familiar with the issues related to amendments to the map, including the SCWA's requirement that any modifications require that the Town conduct a separate SEQRA review. The proposed action under SEQRA is expected to be classified as an Unlisted Action and requires the preparation of an Environmental Assessment Form to identify potential impacts of the extension of public water. We will require .a copy of the proposed plans as well as correspondence received from the SCDHS on this matter to initiate the review. Additional materials will be requested from the Planning Department if needed. Our scope of services for this SEQRA review includes the following tasks: Review proposal plans and correspondence from SCDHS; contact Town Planning staff if additional information regarding the project is needed. Review 2006 Map and Environmental Asses~m~l~l prepared in June 2007 and provide a supplement to the analysis completed with respect to. ext~ltsi0n of distribution lines and the potential for additional yield due to ava lab I ty of public water f0~[o~or properties on Young Avenue. ' ~' 2. Prepare Environmental Assessment Form, Parts I, I1 and III. 3. Prepare Determination of Significance for consideration by the Town Board. The fee for our services is $1,750.00. If this is satisfactory, please provide appropriate authorization and we will commence review immediately.
