( ) REASON FOR APPEAL A Variance to Section 280A Subsection 3 A Variance to the Zoning Ordinance is requested for the reason that The particular piece of property adjoining our "main Piece of Property" is a half acre which is typical of the sub-divisions of the area and adjoins our property in a rather strange shape thus making it a good sub-division for possible future use for my children. Form Z:~l (Continue on other side) REASON FOR APPEAL Continued 1. STRICT APPLICATION OF THE ORDINANCE would produce practical difficulties or unneces- sary HARDSHIP because Considering the area to be 1/2 acre sub-divisiOns and considering the unique shape of the property it is practical to sub-divide this piece off the main piece to be used at a future time possibly by one of my chi ldr en. 2. The hardship created is UNIQUE and is not shared by all properties alike in the immediate vicinity of this property and in this use district because the property as a whole (as Is) is larger than most of the properties by 1/2 to 3/4 of an acre. The ~property in question is of unique shape to the main piece of property whereas most of the properties in the area are rectangular or square. 3. The Variance would observe the spirit of the CHARACTER OF THE DISTRICT because most of the properties are half acre Ordinance and WOULD NOT CHANGE THE STATE OF NEW YORK ) COUNTY 0~'//~ ) ' .......
