The building contains a pre- existing, non-conforming use: five seasonal apartments. We propose to decrease this non-conforming use, by combining two units into one (which will be occupied by Mr and Mrs Air). We shall soon submit an variance application to the Zoning Board of Appeals for their review and approval. , In reading his disapproval, you will note that Tom Fisher directed us to the Planning Board. I have spoken by phone with Bob Kassner, who suggested we write to seek your guidance on this matter. He stated that he had never before reviewed site plan information on such a project, and that he was doubtful it was appropriate to do so. I might add that we are not at all eager to go through the Site Plan approval process. Please review the matter and get back to us with your guidance.
