The undersigned, RAYMOND L. JACOBS, Superintendent of Highways of
the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New York, hereby certifies:
That that portion of the highway in said Town of Southold known as
Indian Neck Lane, described below, and extending to the southerly side of
Indian Neck Road has not been traveled or used as a highway for six and more
years prior to the date of this Certificate and said highway is hereby declared
abandoned pursuant to Section 205 of the Highway Law as a highway and a
public right of way'. Said abandoned highway is described as follows, to wit:
All that certain plot, piece or parcel of
land situate lying and being in the Town of
Southold, Suffolk County, New York,
bounded and described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the westerly side
of Indian Neck Lane where the same is
intersected by the division line between
land now or formerly of John Pontino and

SOUTHOLD TOWN BOARD AT A REGULAR MEETING HELD ON OCTOBER 23. 1990:
RESOLVED that consent is hereby given to Raymond L. Jacobs, Superintendent of
Highways of the Town of Southold, to abandon a portion of Indian Neck Lane that
extends to the southerly side of Indian Neck Road, said highway has not been
traveled or used as a highway for six and more years prior to the date hereof,
and is hereby declared abandoned pursuant to Section 205 of the Highway Law as
