SCTM#1000-104-3-1 The proposed action involves the reconflguring of a floating dock from it's present alignment to a straight linear configuration extending out from a existing catwalk and ramp and perpendicular to the shoreline and secured by three new piles. The proposed action has been reviewed to Chapter 95, Waterfront Consistency Review of the Town of Southold Town Code and the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP) Policy Standards. Based upon the information provided on the LWRP Consistency Assessment Form submitted to this department, as well as the records available to me, it is my recommendation that the proposed action is generally CONSISTENT with the Policy Standards and therefore is CONSISTENT with the LWRP provided that the following standard best management practices are implemented. 1. Du~ing construction require a floating turbidity screen that surrounds the entire project area to protect water quality. Pursuant to Chapter 95, the its Board of Trustees shall consider this recommendation in preparing written determination regarding the consistency of the proposed action. SALICE (as contract vendee) SCTM #104-3-1 Dear Ms. Long, The following action was taken by the Board of Town Trustees during a Regular Meeting, held on July 21, 1999, regarding the above matter: WHEREAS, CHARLES V. SALICE (as contract vendee), applied to the Southold Town Trustees for a permit under the provisions of the Wetland Ordinance of the Town of Southold, application dated July 8, 1999 and, WHEREAS, said application was referred to the Southold Town Conservation Advisory Council for their findings and recommendations, and WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held by the Town Trustees with respect to said application on July 21, 1999, at which time all interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard, and, WHEREAS, the Board members familiar with the premises and, have personally viewed and are in question and the surrounding area, WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and documentation submitted concerning this application, and, WHEREAS, the structure complies with the standard set forth in Chapter 97-18 of the Southold Town Code, WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed will not affect the health, safety and general welfare of the people of the town, NOW THEREFORE BE IT, RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees approves the application of CHARLES V. SALICE (as contract vendee) requests a Wetland Permit to rebuild a 4' X 8' set of stairs, reconstruct an 8' X 8' deck,install a 4' X 60' catwalk with 8" low profile piles, a 3' X 12' ramp and a 6' X 20' float secured with 3- 2 pile dolphins and 2-pile dolphins located on each side of the float. The dock to be built in accordance with the same profile construction type as the ex~sting neighbors. Located: 2315 P~ne Tree Road, Cutchogue. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this determination should not be considered a determination made ~or any other Department or Agency which may also have an application pending for the same or similar project. Permit to construct and complete pro~ect will expire two years from the date it is signed. Fees must be paid, if applicable, and permit issued within six months of the date of this notification. Two inspections are required and the Trustees are to be notified upon completion of said project.
