A coal-tar sealedrejuvenator/micro-surfacing may also be implemented if warranted. Justification: The Airport has maintained the pavement by sealing longitudinal and transverse cracks. Recently, some of the cracks have developed to a point where they cannot be sealed by normal maintenance efforts. Due to the harsh coastal climate and extreme temperatures experienced at Elizabeth Field Airport, maintenance methods other than normal crack sealing need to be employed to improve the runway's pavement performance. Consistency with ALP/FAA Standards This project is recommended in the Airport Master Plan and appears on the existing Airport Layout Plan. Consultation with Users Fisher's Island Ferry District confirms that Operators at Elizabeth Field have been consulted and are aware of the proposed development project. Displaced Persons Statement The airport project proposed in this aid application displacement or relocation of persons residing on development. does not involve the land needed for such Specific Opposition Statement Fisher's Island Ferry District is not aware of any significant community opposition to the proposed project.
