SCHEDULE A
ALL that certain tract or parcel of land, with the buildings
thereon erected, situate, lying and being in the incorporated Village
of Greenport in the Town of Southold, County of Suffolk and State of
New York, which is bounded and described as follows:
BEGINNING at the southwest corner thereof, this being the
southeast corner of land formerly of Sandy Beach Association of
Greenport, N.Y., and running thence North 4° 21~ 20" West along the
easterly line of said land and along the easterly line of Beach Place,
a street in said Village of Greenport, to a locust monument on the
boundary line of said Village~ thence running South 54° 33' 50" East
along said boundar~ line of said Village to a stone monument that is
fifty feet distant from said easterly line of Beach Place measured
by a line at right angles to said line of Beach Place~ thence running
South 4° 21' 20" East along other land of the party of the first ~art,
parallel with the westerly line of the property hereby conveyed and
distant fifty feet from said line, to a monument set in the beach on
high water mark.of Greenport Harbor, as fixed by the State of New York
by its Gran% to.the party of the first part on May 18, 1934j thence
running westerly along said high water mark as thus established to the
point and place of BEGINNING.
The foregoing description is taken from the survey and map
made:by Otto W. Van Tuyl, Licensed Surveyor, entitled "Map of Streets
and Easements at Sandy Beach in the Village of Greenport, Su£folk
County, N.Y." and dated June 18, 1945, which map is the official map
of said part of the Village of Greenport and is on file in the office
of the Clerk of said Village~ and the monuments hereinbefore referred
'to were set by said Otto W. Van Tuyl, Licensed Surveyor.
AND ALSO all the right, title and interest of the party of the
first part in or to that portion of the property conveyed to her by
the State of New York by Grant of May 18, 1934, as aforesaid, that is
bounded and described as follows:
BEGINNING at the southwesterly corner of the property hereinbefore
described, it being the northwesterly corner of the property now to be
described, and running thence' southerly along the westerly line of the
property conveyed by said Grant two hundred ten (210) feet to a point~
thence running easterly along the southerly line of the property
conveyed by said Grant eighty (80) feet to a point~ thence running
northerly on a straight line to the monument at the southeast corner
of the upland property hereinbefore described~ thence running westerly
along the southerly boundary of said property hereinbefore described
to the point or place of BEGINNING.
SUBJECT to a right of way twelve (12) feet in width along the
boundary line of the Village of Greenport, as shown on the map
hereinbefore mentioned and monumented by said Otto W. Van Tuyl, Licensed
Surveyor, which right of way is hereby reserved by the party of the
first part for the free and unobstructed use for passage of said party
of the first part and her successors ~h interest, in any and all of
the land adjacent to or in the immediate vicinity of said right of way,
whether as owners or occupants or having business with any of them.
Also, the said Right of Way is subject to certain specific rights
conveyed by the party of the first part to the Village of Greenport
by Deed dated June 12th, 1945. and recorded in Suffolk County Clerk's
Office in Liber 2430 of Deeds at Page 321 on the 14th day of June, 1945.
